Berea Baptist Church Caring Center

Help us to reach out to others!

If we look around us we can always find others who are much less fortunate than we are. God has called us as believers of His Word to be compassionate people and to give to those in need. Those who work in our Caring Center do just that. But they need the help of all of us. With the growing number of people who came to the center each week the demand for food has grown immensely. You and I can help by picking up a few extras when we grocery shop. I know that the cost of groceries has escalated in the last few months but if each one of us does our small we can make a big difference in the lives of many. This is a great opportunity for you to be a key part of God's ministry.

Don't miss this opportunity!

About the Caring Center

The Care Center exists to help meet the physical needs as well as spiritual needs of those who come seeking assistance. The Center is staffed with volunteers and the ministry opportunities are many. Our volunteers register, interview, witness and visit with each person that comes to the Center for assistance. The Caring Center at Berea Baptist Church is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm.

The Center receives some funds but depends very much on the donations of others to keep it running properly.  When you are out shopping, please pick up some extra non-perishable items and drop them off at the church.  We held a summer concert on Saturday, July 14 to benefit the Care Center and the collection of food was a blessing - but has almost been depleted.  Your generosity is needed.  If you need more information about getting assistance or about volunteering or donating supplies to the Center, please email us.
